Delete Jag Stories Data

Jag Stories does not require users to create an online Jag Stories account. Most app information is stored locally on the user’s Android phone and compatible Watch.

Delete data stored on your device

You can delete supported records directly inside Jag Stories where a delete option is available. You can also remove locally stored Jag Stories data through Android app settings or by uninstalling the app.

Request deletion of data held by Jag Stories

If you believe Jag Stories holds personal information about you outside your device, you can request deletion by emailing support@jagstories.com with the subject Jag Stories Data Deletion Request.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant data, such as the email address or participant details used with the affected Jag Stories feature. Do not send passwords, activation keys, private QR codes, firearm serial numbers, or unrelated sensitive information unless specifically required to identify the record.

What may be deleted

Where applicable, a valid deletion request may cover personal information provided for support, Match Director participation information received or retained by Jag Stories, and other personal information held by Jag Stories that can reasonably be linked to the requester.

What is normally only on your device

Weapon profiles, loads, DOPE data, most match records, training history, Hunter's Room records, photos, app settings and similar records are designed to remain on the user’s device unless the user explicitly exports, backs up, shares or transfers them through a Jag Stories feature. Jag Stories cannot remotely delete information that exists only on a user-controlled device.

Retention

Deletion requests will be handled as required by applicable law. Information may be retained where legally required, where necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, to resolve an active dispute, or for another lawful purpose. Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
